Description
Biblical Counselor Supervisors/Trainers provide biblical counseling, supervision to biblical counselors and apprentices, and lead training events. They must posses a firm understanding of God’s Word and how to build a biblical framework around sin and suffering in people’s lives. The must be able to effectively lead a diverse group of biblical counselors.
Job Responsibilities
- Counsel at least 15 hours per week, complete case report forms, and develop individualized care plans
- Lead team building and equipping meetings
- Develop resources, research, training materials, curriculum and blog posts.
- Supervise Biblical Counselors, review case report forms and individualized care plans
- Commit to personal growth through continuing education.
Requirements
- Local to East Fort Worth, or surrounding area.
- MA in Biblical Counseling, or similar education and ministerial experience
- Preferable: ACBC, CCEF, or ABC certified
- Affirm and commit to the Statement of Faith and Biblical Counseling Methodology
- Display Christlike conduct and speech at all times and with all people
- Active member of a Church that faithfully proclaims God’s Word
- Faithful, diligent, trustworthy and knowledgeable
- Able to use social media, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Docs, WordPress
- Able to take notes, stay organized, and manage schedule
- Hard-working, self-motivated, servant-leader
