Biblical Counselor Supervisor/Trainer
James serves as a Biblical Counselor Supervisor/Trainer in the mid-cities and greater Fort Worth area and serves at the Redemption Story Church (formerly Village Church Fort Worth) as a Deacon of Care. He graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. James is a certified biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
James and Patricia, his wife of over twenty years, have two teenage children. He grew up in Christian home in Needles, California. After serving in the Air Force, he moved to Fort Worth to work in the aerospace industry. There was not a time that he could remember that he did not know, love, trust and obey the Lord. Though he made an early confession of faith and baptism, he remained immature within the faith until difficulties in marriage drove him deeper into study and dependence on the Lord. James has a strong commitment to serve God through biblical counseling especially in the area of struggling marriages.
